Bro.,- here it is www.popcornhour.com.ph. They have branches in the major malls in MM.
Enjoy!
As what bro flakez mentioned, there is another brand e-Great. I understand that it is available at EHome in GreenHills....

*shadow, you can also use old laptops (p2-p3) you can probably get these for 3-5k each. It will save you money from electric bills. Typically 50-60w as opposed to desktops (400-500w+).
The advantage with a computer is, you can install Anti-Virus and Peer Guardian 2 (it blocks false packets which some servers feed into the ******* world to make erroneous downloads).
NAS is good, there are many types. Consumes maybe 20-30w. Make sure you get one that has an OS (usually Samba Linux). I'm not sure though if these devices have apps that can block false data but being linux, maybe.
There was a time D-Link became a craze, but lately, some users seem to be having problems with it suddenly going dead.
If you plan to build a NAS, best to use WD Green series. cheaper, cooler and quieter. Seagate's latest drives suddenly go dead too (firmware issues). More expensive and the warranty is the same as WD, 3yrs. Some WD drives have 5-year warranties though (enterprise series).

is this the same one from WD?
If you can get the Synology, maganda yan. Pero maganda kuha ka ng dual bay para you can install two internal SATA drives but if you're okay with single, ok na rin. mahal pa kasi 2TB single drive ngaun (mga 13k).
Ang 1TB ngayon 5.2-5.5k ata WD green series. Remember, don't buy the Seagates for now.
nag-import ako ng mga ganyan before. Ok na ok performance, 4yrs na yung iba (back then sobrang mahal nito). hehe.
Yung ni-link mo na WD, High Definition player yan. Kailangan mo ng external media for it to work. Pangit yan kasi walang Network connection, maganda sana i-pair up sa isang NAS but if you're willing to go through the hassle of connecting and disconnecting USB drives, ok na din for the price since it can play MKV & FLAC, two of the most important mainstream formats.
BTW, ang NAS, sa router nakakabit ha. Usually pwede mo rin sya i-access through USB (pag kinabit mo sya sa PC).
pero normally sa router lang sya nakakabit talaga.
yung Popcorn Hour, may latest model nyan, A110 ata.
