SONY VAIO reformat

mga sir help

meron kase new laptop yung sister ko na SONY VAIO CR series, e gusto niya na i-partition ko yung HDD, so ginawa ko gumawa muna ako ng recovery disc, after nun, nag-erase ako ng lahat ng laman ng laptop niya and then inilagay ko na yung recovery disc para mag setup ng new windows vista, but during the process may lumalabas na error, ayaw tumuloy nung setup, ano na gagawin ko? meron bang support dito na pwede mag setup ng vista sa laptop niya?

di ko na din kase ma format yung laptop niya using yung recovery inside sa laptop kase na-erase ko na lahat ng laman nun

ano kaya gagawin ko? TIA

most probably, the recovery disk is configured for single partitions.
tanggalin mo na lang yung second partition na ginawa mo and try to restore it using the recovery CD.

para lang maayos.

but if you would want the two partitions, what you can do is to get a clean installer (XP or Vista) and install it at partition 1. download ka na lang ng mga device drivers from the Internet. medyo madugo ito.

I recently took out XP from my Toshiba laptop and reverted back to the default Vista Home Premium via the two recovery dvd's.

The recovery dvd gave me the option to add partitions then do a factory reinstall (on the main partition) or proceed with the factory reinstall directly on one partition.

I'm not sure how Sony's recovery disc works. But, it may give the same options.

Also, the Toshiba recovery dvd gave the option to install only the apps I wanted. Unfortunately, I figured that would be a lot more tedious than simply do a default reinstall and then just uninstall the unwanted apps via Control Panel.

pag nilalagay ko yung added programs during installation, dun nagkaka-error, kaya ngayun na install ko na yung vista pero wala na yung mga kasamang programs, di ko man lang nasubukan yung mga programs na kasama, at ang masama pa ay pati yung sony vaio recovery center ay nawala

i think the best thing to do is to have it installed as basic as it can based on what you have said above.

tapos download ka na lang nung mga added programs from the internet. i am sure the sony vaio website has that, including the drivers.
