My Palm T|X for instance, is more than a decade old and it’s still working. The battry retention is probably down to 25% from when it was new but it doesn’t matter since the product is obsolete. I’m just keeping it for nostalgia and novelty.
My Phantom 3 drone smart batteries are set to auto-discharge to around 60% when not used for more than 2 days. I’ve set it as such because I don’t get to use it much. Every few months, I charge it up to full, do some flights, charge it again to full, store it and let the auto-discharge kick in.
