XDA is accusing oneplus 5 of cheating because it has a full throttle performance configuration that triggers when you run benchmark and games. I don't see a problem there. You don't ask a runner to use his jogging speed on a sprint race. As long as the users still get the same performance during gaming, that's not cheating.

8GB RAM = Overkill na. sana tinaasan nalang nila yung screen-to-body ratio. bezel less phone era na ang 2017.

AFAIK notorious na ang OP sa benchmarks, even Samsung and HTC before na alam ko na accuse din ng cheating kaya naglabas ng ibang app yung AnTuTu.
I dunno but for me di tama yun, you're supposed to test the phone's performance sa stock configuration. Though you probably won't feel the difference of having the extra boost for every day tasks.
Ok sana yung 1+5, letdown lang yung design. Nothing special, mukhang generic phone from Chinese brands lang. The dual camera system looks promising though base sa initial reviews, developed in close coordination 'daw' with DxO.

ip8 renders already look good. they need to step up to compete against the s8/n8s

The problem with the mi mix is the awkward placement of things displaced by the bezel less top. I think it also suffered from poor sound coming from the earpiece's design. I like the implementation of the S8 and LG better since mas proportioned tingnan yung top and bottom. But you have to credit Xiaomi for their design lalo na yung ceramic back ng mi mix.
But they use benchmark apps to test the overall performance of software optimization and hardware. Twice na sila pinagsabihan ng isang Android engineer na wag gawin yung practice kasi pwede makasira ng device. Ang difference naman kasi sa Galaxy, feature siya.

Read the latest rumors about the Note 8. Parang hindi masyadong exciting.
I don't need a 4K screen with an 18.5:9 ratio and a screen size of 6.8".
What I want is a better battery (I charge my Note 5 several times a day) and a better camera (they've rehashed the same camera several times now).
Oh, and front-mounted fingerprint sensor please. The rear mounted one on the S8 is so unintuitive.

so they skimped on the battery size? [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90] [emoji90]

Jut, believe it or not you'll get used to the location. During the first week of using the S8 I don't know how many times I cursed at Samsung for the stupid location. Now my index finger naturally finds the sensor location and I use it without any problems.
My only remaining gripe about this is when the phone is mounted on the dashboard and I need to unlock the phone. Hard to use the iris sensor as an alternative while driving.
If you connect to your HU using Bluetooth, just use Smart Lock to add the HU as a Trusted Device. That's what I did.
Now, when I enter my car and the phone pairs up automatically with the HU, it's unlocked na and I just tap on the Home button to wake it up and start using it.
You can also do things like adding your home as a Trusted Place so whenever you're at home, you don't need to unlock it using biometrics or password/PIN.
