Personally I don't like the UI of Android na walang UI overlay (i.e. Samsung Touchwiz or HTC Sense).

I had a Nexus 5, and kahit gano kaganda specs niya at the time, mas ok pa yung low-end Samsung ko, mas madali gamitin. Also tried the CM Flare before kasi nga ok specs, but iba talaga UI ng Samsung.

Xperia M4 aqua, Snapdragon 615, IP68 rating, 2 day battery life for 10-12K sounds like a good deal.

For one, the Zenfone has a smaller screen than the Xiaomi, that alone indicates lower power use.

Good analogy. IOS is really more efficient with battery. But for Androids, 3500+ mah battery should be the minimum for midrange units

Good hardware specs but Lenovo's software isn't updated regularly. Yun lang ang con nito, IMHO

Depends on the OEM customization too. Even with less than 3000mAh batteries phones like recent Xperias can last over a day even under heavy usage. Phones with bigger batteries take time to recharge unless equipped with quick charging feature, not to mention additional heft and size for the phone itself.

Got me a Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual SIM to replace a similar T2 Ultra. Okay na rin naman sana yung T2 if you only need basic usage out of your celfone. The limiting factor eh yung 1GB RAM + 8GB storage. After a while wala ka na ma-install at laggy na rin.

The C5 Ultra upgrades the T2 with a bump in resolution from 720p to 1080p of the 6" screen. Nasanay na rin kasi ako sa phablet so yung 5.5" still looks smallish to me. RAM is now 2GB with 16GB storage (expandable via microSD). LTE na rin siya from the previous 3G. The front 13MP selfie cam with wide lens now has an LED flash also. All that for only Php15k+.

Since bago pa I am almost always tinkering with it. So I really haven't tested how long the battery lasts with normal usage. With lots of texts and browsing it lasts me more than a day naman.

Good specs for midrange. Dapat ang midrange eh minimum ang 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM to be competitive with Chinese brands.

I might go with the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5...

but, I might look/canvass the phone (and might buy it) at Greenhills (may alam ba kayong OK na store sa Greenhills na pwede magswap/trade-in ng phone?)

current phones ko sa ngayon ay Nokia Lumia 625 (na ipapang-swap ko sana) and an old-school brick phone Nokia 5310 XpressMusic na plano ko nang iretire after 8 years :bwahaha:

I would suggest to buy from OLX instead. Sa GH, mahal na nga yung binibenta, sobrang baba pa ng tradein value ng phone mo.

What I always do is sell my phone on OLX for a fair price. Then, either I buy a used one from OLX, or a bnew one as plan recontracting.

mahal ang selling price nila? as in katulad na ng naibebenta sa SM/Ayala Malls/Robinson?

kung sa OLX ko ibebenta (or sa isang FB group for Windows Phone users/fanatics), baka mga araw pa ang bibilangin (or weeks, even months) bago pa may makabili ng ibebenta kong phone.

I don't even considering buying a used phone, BTW.

Ah brand new pala, for brand new phones siyempre cheaper sila, but sometimes no warranty. Compare mo rin sa price ng online sellers, parang cheaper pa yata online.

Yung 2 iPhones ko nabenta ko within a day. Yung Nexus 5, 2 days ata. Same with my HTC Chacha. Longest ko was my Galaxy Mega, but not because walang nagtatanong, more of barat lang magalok.

But if ayaw mong mahassle, sa GH na nga. Or benta mo sakin ako nalang magreresell hehe.
