smart or globe?

just want to add dat i have had the same globe prepaid sim number since 1998. so i guess im loyal globe user. i have a saying. BE SMART USE GLOBE! heheheheh.............

Ako naman ay baliktad and experience ko. I've been using globe post paid for 6 years. Ang ayoko sa globe ay yung currency adjustments. pag tumawag ako ng NDD ay hindi kasama sa free call plan (you have pay extra). Parang madaya sya sa mga txt messages, may mga sinisingil sakin na naka subscribe daw ako (pero never naman akong nag su-subscribe). I have plan 800 pero mostly ay 1200++ ang binabayaran ko (they even offered me an 11,000 pesos worth of rebate, para di ako magpa disconnect. pero di ko na tinanggap). Then nag switch naman ako sa Smart Adict mobile na post paid din and kumuha ako ng plan 1200 last year and they gave me a free P910i for a 2 year lock-in period. Pag tumawag ako ng NDD ay kasama pa din sa plan ko (dont have to pay extra), no currency adjustments. no unwanted charges for text messages. So far, happy ako sa Smart. Naka automatic roaming when you go out of the contry. Ewan ko, pero ayoko na sa Globe ....and I'm happy with Smart now !

Same experience sa office mobile accounts namin from Globe: send a text once, yung recepient madalas eh 2x or more nare-recive - and the amount is deducted from our remaining credits or is charged.

hindi mo tinanggap 11,000 pesos sayang dre. kami tinanggap namin for 2 years lock-in. kami tinanggap namin, with the 11,000 pesos rebate, nagpadowngrade pa kami sa plan 800 g flex. for 2 years billing ko lang sa globe ngaun average 300++ better than prepaid with all the perks of postpaid.

i'm not really a heavy user on personal use, so solb na solb yan 300++. basta business call, pang-business cellphone din.

best thing about globe is share ata nya yun database kay bpi. since 2 months ago i've applying for a multi-pupose loan sa bpi for a business. na ci ako with my bpi account and globe account. guess what, andali ko na-approve for a 1M loan kasi loyal daw ako. i also automatically got pre-approved sa auto loan nila of which I'll make use in the future na lang. and now they're pushing for me to apply for housing loan.

yan ang ok about ayala-owned companies. regarding smart, pldt or rcbc, ewan ko na lang, not familiar with them.

regarding unlimitxt, sabi ng globe kelangan ubusin muna free text then pag naubos na bago pede mag unlimitxt... hmmm tipong dapat ubusin muna free txt, so laki kikitain ng globe dun...

eh ganun nga ginagawa ko eh inuubos ko talaga pero free ko is 300 lang pero ang txt usage ko 2k putek nang UNLIMITXT pa ako.

not sure if its the same platform but the N70 is soo dang slow. Parang pagong. Good points are 1. camera - clear pics although reload after another shot takes a long time. 2. battery life is pretty good.

If network pag uusapan. Im not bias ok? coz all my life ive been a globe user but when they didnt give me a free phone after 2 years with bills amounting to 5k a month, I got pissed off and changed networks. Man I should have done it a long time ago. Smart signal is much better specially where I live (alabang). Most of my friends are from globe but my monthly bill is way lower with smart. DAmi kasing hidden charges ng Globe. PAra sa kin now that IVe tried both Id stick to smart Oh by the way I retained my globe but at a much lower monthly.

ako rin globe before tapos di rin ako binigyan ng phone as loyalty, daming tse-tse-buretse...kulang nalang iyakan ko sila o sigawan! hehehe tranferred to smart....happy naman ako with smart can't wait to get my new phone sa retention plan! hehehe

magulo nga pala, a fren told me that smart offers a new phone to you on your 18th month pa lang, but you should retain your line for another 2 years, however the remaining 6 months is cancelled if you get the new phone and proceed with another 2 year lock up so parang 18 month lang daw yun lock up and me offer agaf silang new phone to you for your continued patronage.

is this true? if so, bakit sa globe alang ganito...?

i applied sa smart and got N73, its quite a good phone=) i called up globe if they would give me a phone, they still didnt bother to call me up even i stated that id be leaving abroad today,i even talked with globe customer care at their office here in tarlac, they said i should wait for 3 days, it was wednesday, ive given them a leeway, so goodbye globe=)

thank to smart=) i was there more than an hour haggling to get the numbner i wanted=) buti they gave it to me, w/o extra charge, smile lang ang katapat=)

My Globe 2-year lock-in period(at P1800/mo) has just expired, so should i be asking Globe for a free phone to stay on their network?
