lugi pa ang Digitel in the past 4 years.. i think kelangan nila ng subscriber base na 2.5M para mag break even, ang forecast ata is 2006 or 2007 ba yun tsaka sila kikita...

but i dont think nalulugi sila sa 24/7 nila na yan, kasi existing naman na iyang structure na yan dati pa, wala lang gumagamit.. kasi konti subscriber nila, then suddenly nag 24/7 sila, dumami yung subscriber nila pero konti lang dinagdag nila sa hardware, where's the loss in that?

This is just a merely straight forward computation and obviously you're niether an RF nor Mobile Network guy. hehe... Because your way of "calculation" is so easy as to compare to Network Dimensioning and Cell Planning is. Radio Frequency Parameters (Traffic Channels, TRX, GOS, subscriber penetration, BHCA, etc.) planning should be considered in putting up a cellsite. And not your Grade 6 computation.... pang college na 'to bro. hehe

Irregardless on how much subscribers per cellsite. It depends on how optimized your BTS are, how much Grade of Service and Call Success Rate your Network have.

yeah yeah, because their call limit is 5 minutes while Sun's is 15 minutes. and before making a call, you have to text the number first. sa Sun, just dial the number directly like any call. better nga sila.

Well ang masama walang originality Smart, why not come up with another name instead of 25/8... its pretty obvious what they're doin unfortunately with their current network situation they can't match Sun's talk time. They'll have to invest heavily on additional cellsites if they want to keep their prepaid subscriber base.
