Hindi naman comparable Singapore vs the whole Philippines. Ang liit lang ng SG, it's a bit larger lang than Metro Manila but has the budget of a whole country.
Their S$39 (P1200) for 300Mbps isn't actually that far off from PLDT/Converge offerings that come in at around P2000. Locally I think the ISPs can lower prices inside Metro Manila pa nga, but they keep it flat so effectively we're sponsoring rollout to more provincial areas.
I get 400+ mbps from my PLDT 1699 plan so it’s not that bad really.
Then unli 5G for my Smart plan 999 isn’t too shabby either. Consistently at least 50 mbps wherever I go.

You're probably a long time subscriber of PLDT, that speed is for the next tier rate.
I'm just waiting for my contract to expire this October and will most probably shift to PLDT or Converge. I feel cheated by my provider for 1399 for 25 Mbps. Their new plans with the same price now have higher speeds but they don't upgrade us tied up customers.
Yah incomparable, sg telcos doesnt offer 500mbps anymore, i think you can get price of the same to a new subscription of 2Gbps.

Call 171. Something wrong with your internet settings sa back end nila.
Also is that speed directly connected to the modem? Are u in the same room as the modem or different location?
Wifi signals deteriorate over distance, walls. , glass. , floors.

Many times they have to reset your settings to get the correct speed.
Something is definitely wrong cause your 9ms ping is too high. Dapat less than 2ms.

Are you guys using the 5 GHz band of your routers? There’s a very big difference between the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. If you don’t have your wifi set up correctly to connect to 5 GHz then you’re missing out on so much speed.
5 GHz: 400 mbps
2.4 GHz: 60 mbps

Yes, I can detect both the 2.4G and 5G band and connect to 5G
We already complained before when we paid for 5G but can only detect/get the 2.4G band.
PLDT came and checked and ended up resetting from their end and upgrading the modem.
Yet, even nung bagong reset pa yan, our Speedtest never breached the 200mbps range.
I was happy until I read what Jut was paying and getting. Now I feel shortchanged![]()

I'm using 5ghz band and my android phone worth 20k only gets 250 mbps. My other android phone which was old but TOTL is getting around 350 mbps. My laptop which is connected through lan cable is getting 500 mbps up to 600 mbps sometimes.
This makes me realize iba iba ang wifi module ng mga phone, mabagal lang mga budget phone, I think jut has a better phone. And the best way to test is through ethernet and laptop.

Sometimes it's the LAN cable naman! For the longest time my friend was complaining na 100Mbps lang PLDT nya eh he was paying 2899 or thereabouts. Then he changed the old LAN cable to CAT6 and got this:
