LED refers to the backlight of an LCD TV. These are tiny diodes fixed in a grid, instead of one flourescent light used in existing LCD TVs. This allows the set to adjust or switch off each diode, giving better blacks in certain dark scenes.

    yup...

I'm not in the market right now. I do a lot of cable-TV watching kasi, and from what I've heard, Samsung LCD/LED TV's are a bit crappy, resolution-wise, since analog signal pa rin ang gamit dito.

A couple of years from now, babagsak din naman presyo niyan eh.

    May bago na namang LED...

aside from Red Green and Blue, meron nang Cyan and Magenta. So it's RGBCM-LED.
