In the interest of lowering our electricity bills, I'm planning to replace a 250W Metal Halide floodlight in the yard with a close equivalent LED flood. It doesn't have to be as bright but just enough illumination to conduct family social functions and of course, for security.
Now, I've been looking at offerings from both physical stores and online, and as with everything, prices are all over the place. I can get something like a Philips or NXLED and call it a day, but I don't know much about these things enough to say if these two relatively-known brands are worth their price.
There's also the Chinese off-brand fixtures with prices that seems too good to be true. Then in the middle of the pack, there's Omni.
I'm looking at getting three 20W or two 30 or 40W fixtures. They'll be powered up automatically everyday from dusk 'til dawn (approx. 10-11 hours/day duty cycle).
Bottom line is, can anyone recommend an LED flooflight fixture that they have first-hand experience with and are known to be reliable but not expensive?
Better to buy the similar-era clone starex 4x4 (not sure lang if local or imported but original lhd...
