Problematic Seagate Hard Disks?

I bought a Seagate 3.5in 1TB hdd a couple of months ago and its doing well.

For the moment WD seems to be the safe choice. You just have to decide black or green.

I've stuck with WD as well. But, I stick with the boxed, retail types only because it's protected more from shock if the box was dropped.

Every single OEM hard drive that I bought had been problematic, no matter which brand although WD is also the safest bet. The only oem drive I have (besides the ones in the laptops) right now is a WD 2.5" 55gb portable hard drive. I bought it back in 2005 and it's still in great shape.
