We still have landline. Thinking of changing our Isp to something that doesn't need landline. Although may mga time na pag tumatawag ako sa bahay either naka silent or no batt of mo signal mga cellphone. So I end up calling landline. Although I found out hindi kasama pldt call sa smart plan namin. So I pay 7.50 per minute pa on top of monthly smart plan.

    Globelines. Plan 1299.
    May cap.

Not bad since for Surfing and assignments lang ng mga anak ko gamit.
    Need din namin ng landline.
    Downside:
We need to switch or buy a globe sim para free tumawag incase may emergency.
    Still handy ang meron landline.

Yup. It's where all the junk calls go to. I have the ringer turned off. So, I wouldn't know if it was ringing.

If it's my relatives and in-laws, they use Facebook to contact me. If it's work and official service calls, they contact me via my Samsung flip-up phone.

Yes, but we no longer give it away, even on government forms.

BUT I realized that I can live without a landline. I hung our phone for more than a week now and my Mom only had one call from her friend that our landline was not working

    landline still needed nowadays

We still have ours. Lalo sa amin almost all of us are prepaid users kaya malaking tulong ang landline when callin to bank etc.

We still do have. A landline phone (PLDT). The ever all basic and traditional means of communication. When all mobile phones and internet are down, it has been very useful to us, especially in time of needs.

Meron pa din sa bahay. Very convenient pa din when canvassing for stuff to buy ( like car tires w/c i've been doing lately) or services to avail.

Was planning to ditch having a postpaid landline and settle for a pldt prepaid "landline" SIM. However, due to poor cellphone signal reception in our new residence, we had no choice but to apply for a landline (but not dsl) again.

Almost 2 years na so far wala naman problem. Downside lang nang fiber pag brownout walang landline unless me genset ka.

We do. We previously thought we could do with a pldt prepaid "landline" but due to lousy cell tower signal in our new residence, we had no choice but to get a landline.
