Pls help.... WD external drive 1T cannot be formatted to NTFS

Open up Disk Management and try to delete and recreate the volume. After that, also from within Disk Management, format the drive to NTFS or to whatever file system you want it to be.

this should work.
remove and re-create the partition and format it to NTFS.
if it cant be detected by Windows Disk Management, try using GParted.
