it was a terribly bad day for me yesterday. i had a taxi ride to makati, from paco manila. kausap ko pa ung driver, nag uusap kami sa buong trip.. he looks decent enough of a person naman kaya natuwa ako. then, when i got off the taxi, mejo nagmamadali ako kc umuulan and nababasa ako.. i didnt notice that my celfone had slipped out of my pocket and onto the backseat. i think it was when i was paying up that it had slipped out. KABADTRIP TALGA! i was just a few meters away when i noticed i didnt have my celfone. alam ko kinuha talga ng driver un. and to think AVIS taxi yun, kala ko mga professionals. un pla mga professional garapal.

so now, im planning to have it blocked by the NTC para d na magamit. meron ba jang mga experienced pips who knows how to go about this matter? thanks. i need to have it blocked asap sana. and btw, napapaunblock ba ang unit pag blocked ng ntc?

thanks for your inputs mga frens, appreciate it very much.

btw, umalis na yung driver when i noticed my cel was gone. but the taxi didnt went off agad like merong tinatakas, normal lang xa. ako din nagpasilong pa a few seconds just a lil distance away from the taxi.

i tried calling it right away nung na notice ko ala na. first 2 hours d sinasagot, tapos after nun sinagot na ung call but d nakikipag usap, nakikinig lang. there was also just one time na tumawag xa using my cel to the cel of my pinsan, nung sinagot ko, nakikinig lang din. puro ambient noise lang wlang tunog ng hinga though. nung gabi hanggang ngaun, my cel (or sim) is completely dead na.

grabe, who says filipino taxi drivers are honest? they can all burn in hell. kakarmahin din mga yan. swerte lang kung talgang likas na mabait na driver un, more of an exemption rather than rule.

afaik you have to bring the receipt and the box with you. dapat nandun yun imei number. but the badnews is sa greenhills pati imeinumber e naaayos na nila. if you got namna your phone sa globe smart or sun you can just bring it to them sila na mag block. just make sure the phone is registered sa ntc. some grey if not most of grey market phones are not registered with the ntc.

you can have your phone block first if you are a post paid user, then have the imei block so the person who got your phone will not be ablt to use the phone, however i think it could be unblocked...

galing ng mga technician diyan sa greenhills

some mobile's IMEI (old models) can be changed. sana your phone model can't.. para it will become useless once blocked.

is your line prepaid or postpaid? if postpaid, call your network provider and have the sim blocked and get a replacement sim. If prepaid, well, charge it to experience.

next is the phone, what is it? nokia , ericsson, samsung, etc.? if nokia, there a probability that imei will be changed and then charge it to experience, for other brands, it is difficult to change the imei.

next, was the unit bought with a postpaid phone? if so, automatically, it will be blocked by the network provider, just make sure you tell them block the sim and phone. for units bought elsewhere, just make sure you have proof that it is your phone and bring documents to ntc for them to block it.

i am not so sure on units blocked by ntc, if its really mandated to all networks here in the philippines (globe, smart, sun)

i have seen some units blacklisted in the HLR of one network provider, so if postpaid sim and phone, even faster and more reliable.

Just charge it to experience and be very careful next time.

You may call the taxi company and report the incident. Suggest ko lang, don't immediately pinpoint the driver as the taker of the phone.

3230 ung unit ko. i didnt get the body number or plate e, kc when i realized i lost my fone malayo na xa. grabe awakening talga sakin un, mga taxi d mapagkakatiwalaan. grabe!

anyway mga peeps thanks sa inputs. ung cel kc globe reward un from my kaklase na binenta sakin, it turned out na may record sila nun sa globe. so, ung globe nalng daw mag aasikaso ng block. good thing.

but on the bad side, pano malalaman na nablock un? ibblock naman kaya ng globe un or kunwari lang? at pag natanggap ba ng ntc un ibblock ba talga nila? nagdduda kc ko talga.

grabe i still grieve for my cel...

d kaya kumalat mga pics ko dun? dami pix dun e, family, gf, my dogs... buhuhuhu, d kaya balang araw me makita ako bading pinapakita pic ko n sinasabi bf nya ako! yari!!! kahiya hehehehe

onga pla, i didnt report na sa avis kc....

d ko alam sang avis xa member, it turned out per location pla ang avis. diferent area - diferent fleets. so san ako magrereport... e sa manila ako nkasakay e... mixing bowl na ng taxi jan.

ayun... nkakalungkot lang talga... gone are the days when filipinos are honest people... when people have delikadesa and dangal. its sad that the price we pay for poverty is our morality and character. i can only salute those impoverished people that still continue to hold on to character, morality, and good breeding despite the hardships thrown at them.

    tisk, tisk

pls help: ntc blocking of celfone
