it was a terribly bad day for me yesterday. i had a taxi ride to makati, from paco manila. kausap ko pa ung driver, nag uusap kami sa buong trip.. he looks decent enough of a person naman kaya natuwa ako. then, when i got off the taxi, mejo nagmamadali ako kc umuulan and nababasa ako.. i didnt notice that my celfone had slipped out of my pocket and onto the backseat. i think it was when i was paying up that it had slipped out. KABADTRIP TALGA! i was just a few meters away when i noticed i didnt have my celfone. alam ko kinuha talga ng driver un. and to think AVIS taxi yun, kala ko mga professionals. un pla mga professional garapal.
so now, im planning to have it blocked by the NTC para d na magamit. meron ba jang mga experienced pips who knows how to go about this matter? thanks. i need to have it blocked asap sana. and btw, napapaunblock ba ang unit pag blocked ng ntc?
thanks for your inputs mga frens, appreciate it very much.
btw, umalis na yung driver when i noticed my cel was gone. but the taxi didnt went off agad like merong tinatakas, normal lang xa. ako din nagpasilong pa a few seconds just a lil distance away from the taxi.
i tried calling it right away nung na notice ko ala na. first 2 hours d sinasagot, tapos after nun sinagot na ung call but d nakikipag usap, nakikinig lang. there was also just one time na tumawag xa using my cel to the cel of my pinsan, nung sinagot ko, nakikinig lang din. puro ambient noise lang wlang tunog ng hinga though. nung gabi hanggang ngaun, my cel (or sim) is completely dead na.
grabe, who says filipino taxi drivers are honest? they can all burn in hell. kakarmahin din mga yan. swerte lang kung talgang likas na mabait na driver un, more of an exemption rather than rule.
afaik you have to bring the receipt and the box with you. dapat nandun yun imei number. but the badnews is sa greenhills pati imeinumber e naaayos na nila. if you got namna your phone sa globe smart or sun you can just bring it to them sila na mag block. just make sure the phone is registered sa ntc. some grey if not most of grey market phones are not registered with the ntc.
you can have your phone block first if you are a post paid user, then have the imei block so the person who got your phone will not be ablt to use the phone, however i think it could be unblocked...
