PLDT myDSL Subscribers: is your connection OK?

Here's the highest results that I got so far (I'm using PLDT myDSL Personal):

On PLDT play Bandwith Meter:
647.5 kbps
80.94 Kb/s

On Globequest utilities:
936.16960 kbps
117.02 KB/s

myDSL Personal = 784 kbps (current speeds)

Ganda ng results ngayon at saka kahit Speed Stream modem ang gamit ko, hindi na siya bumabagal ng husto (unlike nung last 2 months).

Wala na yung pangyayari na bumababa ang speed ng husto (minsan 32 kbps in just less than 30 minutes and sometimes, 0 KB/S )

ok na din dsl ko. dami ko ng nadownload na dvd movies. i was able to download more than 80GBs of movie since july ;)

pero minsan bumabagsak pa rin ang download ko to 0kbs, for about 1 minute. pero less than 10 times in 24 hrs lang naman. unlike before, every few minutes ang disconnection ko.

to search for movies/music and everything go to www.*******spy.com and use bittorent(search for ******* or ******** on google).

puno yung harddisk ko ng mga dvd-rip movies. hehe

at kung ano na programs kailangan naka install sa PC ko

i use ******** for downloading, and i search for the movies in www.********.com.

pag na disconnect ba ay tuloy lang ba uli ang download at hindi apektado ang movies once na madisconnect

yup. i set my router and modem to auto-reconnect. kaya kahit wala ako, tuloy lang ang download kapag nagreconnect, without affecting the quality of the movie.

ahh all those text and calls to PLDT paid off. My connection is running well now although siguro may disconnections pa pero tyempuhan na lang.

pu^*&inang PLDT DSL yan, ayoko na talaga! nagpakabit na ako ng Smart WiFi! dati nagrereply pa sila sa mga emails ko sa kanila, the past 2 months hindi na nagrereply. kapag tumatawag naman ako sa hotline nila, ang palaging sagot sa akin, naiforward na nila sa technical department nila.

ang ka-email ko dati sa PLDT DSL was a certain Marian Josephine P. Estrada, sabi ng isang nakausap ko na CS nila sa hotline, supervisor daw nila yun. pucha talaga, anong klaseng customer service meron sila, pati supervisor deadma sa mga customers!

papadisconnect ko na bukas ang DSL ko!!

nagkaroon din ako ng ganyan about a month ago (new connection ako pero laging down)....since the last repair okay na pldt dsl ko dito sa AC

Hindi yata taga pldt ang CS nila...kaya dead ma lang.

Yung ganya diba breach of contract on their side yun (not providing the service that you are paying for)....so pede dapat magpaputol anytime without liability from them?

kung alam ko lang na mas ok smart wifi dapat yun na lang kinuha ko, pero dpat ko nalang pagtiyagaan pldt kasi kakakuha ko pa lng kelanagn 1 yr bago terminate, or ma chacharge ako ng mahal.

pero diba sister company ng smart ang pldt?

hindi naman sa mas ok ang smart wifi, may problema lang talaga sa account ko sa PLDT DSL. madami din naman satisfied PLDT DSL subscribers dito kagaya ni BlueBimmer. hmmm, hindi kaya napupunta lahat ke BB ang bandwidth ko kaya ako nagkakaproblem dito?

ang smart wifi ko naman pag malakas ang ulan nawawala ang connection ko hehehehe. pero wala na akong ibang reklamo. mabilis naman at reliable (basta wag lang malakas ang ulan)
