PCI Controller?

This afternoon nakapagnet pa ang kapatid ko.Then nung natapos siya maginternet sumunod naman ako.Nashutdown nung kapatid ko.Nung turn on ko ulit.Nakita ko na lang bigla dun sa account ko na found new hardware.Cancel ko wala naman kase akong install or delete na program.
Nagconnect ako sa interent ayaw niya magconnect tinignan ko ang properties na dial up nakita ko yung modem removed.Tignan ko sa add and remove programs nandun naman at nung click ko yung remove na button meron bluescreen na lumabas error make sure the drive is installed mahaba yung nakalagay.Nirestart ko na lang.Then ilang beses ko nirestart at shutdown ganun pa din ayaw pa din magconnect sa internet.Then shutdown ko after an hour.Ok na ulit..Ang labo.
Hindi ko alam kung install ko ba yung modem or hindi.
Ano problem bakit nakakaganito ang modem ng pc ko?
Meron akong cd ng d-link na modem kaso ang question ko kapag lumabas ba yun found new hardware install ko yung modem?
Nagiging often na ang problem ko dun sa PCI controller na yun.Hindi ko din alam kung modem nga yun pero hindi ako makaconnect sa internet everytime na lumalabas ang found new hardware na yun..

malamang may conflict yung PCI slot where your modem (assuming its an internal modem and NOT external) is attached to. Try to study your Motherboard's manual bec. it usually indicates there which PCI slots are also being shared with othe devices you might have. In your case siguro, the modem is in conflict with another device.

If possible, pls post the hardware spec of your PC.

Ganyan din experience ko sa isang comp ko ngayon week nga rin lang nangyari.

Grounded yung sound card ko pag nilalagay ko nawawala LAN ko pero pag inalis ko naman yung sound card ayos na naman nakakapag surf ako sa net, ayos na rin ang LAN. Nilipat ko lang sound card ko sa isang PCI slot ngayon OK na.

Subukan mong magtanggal ng isang nakakabit sa PCI slot mo tapos subukan mo ulit mag-internet. may isang grounded lang dyan. or subukan mong ilipat modem mo sa isang slot

usually loose connection lang yan, unless meron kang bagong hardware installation which conflicts with the existing hardware.... as was earlier suggested, konting kalikot lang at malamang na may konting loose lang...

your options.

Remove the modem thru the Device Manager, reboot and put back the modem again and reinstall the drivers of the modem. If this doesn't solve your problem, place the modem on "another" PCI slot and re-add the modem to your devices.

Also check your Device Manager for conflicts.

Gaano na katagal tong setup mo? Baka grabe na accumulated dust sa loob... not unless naka-aircon ka all the time. I am using the same motherboard... After 2 years of use, what I did was to dis-assemble everything, clean the contacts with WD-40 (konting spray and punas with clean cloth) and then put them back together...

try mo buksan pc mo, then press all the slot na naka-load, maluwag lang po mga slots mo, damay mo na din yun memory. if ever hindi pa din. try locate yun pci to other slots. if ever hindi pa din, unstall mo yun pci software/hardware then install ulit.

Check Device Manager... most probably maraming drivers ang di naka-install sa PC mo.

Check mo yung device manager. Usually pag may uninstalled hardware or conflicts, makikita mo yung question mark beside the hardware.

You can right click on the device with a question mark then click properties at makikita mo kung ano yung problema.

Can you help to get a screenshot of the device manager?

Check Device Manager... most probably maraming drivers ang di naka-install sa PC mo.

Oh no!!!..Huwag naman sana kase last year pinalinis ko na ito sa Villman sa makati.

Engots talaga mga tech support ng mga computer shop... sinasauli sa customer na hindi kumpleto drivers... ang mahal mahal pa naman sumingil... tsk tsk...

I went to Villman last week to check why my modem doesn't work and why is it looking for PCI Controller and VGA Device and I found out that my video card's fan is not working anymore and it has dust.
When they removed the fan it doesn't spin anymore.I have no choice but to buy a new video card.

ang masama dyan the radeon 9600 pro is not much of an upgrade from a fx5600..dapat nag 7 series geforce nalang kung gagastos ng bago. a 7600 perhaps.

tsk tsk pangit talaga ng sparkle... sakit nila yan e na mabilis masira ang video card fans...

and tama ang sinabi ng iba... better buy a fan rather than replacing the video card... the Radeon 9600 does not provide a noticeable boost from the FX 5600... hindi pa nga directx 9.0c compatible yan e... buti pa yung Geforce compatible...

Anyway kung may pera naman yung bibili ok lang yun... pero siguro yung magpaloko sa mga Gilmore boys na palitan na agad ang video card... tsk tsk pera pera lang iniisip ng mga mokong na yan!
