nyek... villman... parang gilmore boys din yan e... puro recommendation e palitan... parang mga casa...
At least the Geforce FX is a full DX 9.0a or b series card... ATI I'm not sure though... parang 8.1 yata to... or DX 9 without the pixel shaders... tingnan ko na lang ulit sa wikipedia...
But I agree with the above post... Full DX 9.0c support ang 6xxx Geforce at Radeon x1000++ series....
Thats the better investment considering that Vista, although supporting older DX 9... will be fully compatible with DX 9.0c...

The 9600 Pro is a DX9 card as is the GF FX 5600. Neither are considered 9.0b cards. I'm looking at Tom's Hardware's VGA Charts where each chipset is listed according to its DX generation.
nVidia chipsets go from DX9 (FX series) to DX9.0c (6xxx series). Ati goes from DX9 (9600 Pro-9800 Pro) to DX9.0b (X8xx series) to DX9.0c (X1xxx series).
I'm getting a headache trying to figure this stuff out. Yuck......
Anyway, if we're talking about full Vista Premium Aero effects, the 9600 Pro forms the starting point for ATI while it's the FX 5200 for nVidia. Intel, it's the GMA900.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; September 4th, 2006 at 02:59 AM.

Ha?Hindi na daw naiikot yung fan sobrang tigas na..Wala daw universal na fan sa video card.Mapipilitan ka palitan ang video card.Tinanong na namin bago kami bumili ng bagong video card.

The guy was lying to you. Well, it's either that or he didn't have any video card fans in his store.
Many people don't care to know too much about their video cards (including myself). But, it may be comforting to you that your 9600 Pro video card is enough to handle Vista's full Aero effects.

I'll be bringing it back to villman sometime this week because some of the buttons and urls like for example in friendster doesn't work don't know if its because I have a firewall (w/c I don't have) or it needs some configuration on some options that I don't know where to find it..

If you have Spybot: Search & Destroy and/or Ad Aware or any other anti-spyware app, they may have extra security functions for browsers that are enabled. I do know Spybot has Teatime plus several security tickmarks that can be enabled. I'm not sure if Ad Aware has something similar.

When I was still using Norton Systemworks 2005 everything is working.Spybot Search and Destroy doesn't have any options just check for problems, recovery, immunize, donations and updates thats all. Spyguard too has no options.
