    2 more dos games i always play are ufo:enemy unknown and its sequel x-com:terror from the deep.
    Panzer Generals has more of a strategic level feel to it while Steel Panthers has more of a tactical level feel. I prefer the latter.

    Another great tactical level game I love is MS Close Combat 2: A Bridge Too Far which is the 2nd in the Close Combat series. It's the closest in feel to the original Close Combat but much more refined. I still play it without emulation software.

    As for Steel Panthers: Main Battle Tank, a group of dedicated individuals rebuilt the game and made it Windows-capable.

    There's a lot of old DOS games which have been reworked to run in current systems such as Star Control 2 (based off the 3DO version). I had a 3DO once. Its version of Star Control was the best one.

    Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo out on PC, PS3 and XBOX 360. good first impressions on the console version. I'll be watching out for reviews up until the release. I'm looking forward to trying out more bat gadgets!

    PC games lang ako and I prefer FPS like Counter Strike (CZero and Source). I also play Need For Speed and NBA Live.

    Pacific Fighters. All these years, I forgot to patch the game. Applied all of them and got a Kawasaki Ki-100 as one of the new aircraft added......

    Just going through some old games I still have....... Most are in storage with household stuff. But, I brought a few with me....

    I still have European Air War. After a patch, it runs in Windows 7 RC. It may be a bit flaky. But it runs.


    Going through a list of flight/combat sims that I still have........
    MS Flight Simulator X - the first sim I have that came on a dvd
    Graphsim X-Plane 9 (! 7 dvd's including world scenery files)
    Ubisoft Pacific Fighters
    Graphsim Falcon 4.0: Allied Force (light-years better than the original Microprose game)
    Ubisoft Lock On: Modern Air Combat
    Ubisoft IL2: Forgotten Battles
    Ubisoft IL2: Shturmovik (the definitive singleplayer/LAN WW2 sim series)
    MS Flight Simulator 2002 -
    MS Combat Flight Simulator 3: Battle For Europe
    MS Combat Flight Simulator 2: Pacific Theater - still playing it
    Microprose Falcon 4.0 - so buggy, the original install wouldn't run
    Jane's WW2 Fighters
    Microprose European Air War
    EF-2000 (came with the Diamond Monster 3D 3dfx Voodoo Christmas 1996)
    Lucasarts Tie Fighter Collector's cdrom
    Microprose (1942) Pacific Air War Gold - my first sim with cd install (1994)
