    Great choice Don, you won't get tired of it...

    One advice, though is to manually set the ISO to 400 or lower if you do choose to use flash, for some strange reason (possibly due to the so-called Natural light flash mode...)

    veed, yung sa bro-in-law mo di ba yung CCD problem din? pwede pa pa-repair sa canon free of charge.

    Thanks Theveed :-) I will keep your tip in mind. I'm still trying to figure out the manual settings.

    actually the S3 and the A710 IS ang pinagpilian...
    i ended up with a710 because of the portability but the S3 is indeed a great cam with great zoom, awesome flash and a versatile LCD

    naka set pala cam ko sa ISO800. Too obvious na newbie...hehehe
    Congrats to your A710IS. I actually chose S3 because of the 12x zoom. But I see A710 IS also has a very good review from some websites.

    shoot first at P then play with the exposure and the ISO (thanks to theveed for this nifty advise)
