Ok ba ang TIMEX watch??

Yun unang Timex ko with Indiglo siya. Simple design, but the Indiglo was cool. Sa Duty-Free namin nabili. After 3 years lang yata, nasira ang "engine" daw sabi nung nag-diagnose na taga-Timex. Pero kasalanan ko yata, kasi, ina-adjust ko siya at the time, so palagay ko, ako ang nakasira. :hammer:

Php 2,000 yata o higit pa, ang magagastos kung ipagagawa ko. So off to my "museum" it went.

Bumili na lang kami ng black pair, still Timex, no Indiglo. I'm not sure how old they are now, but they're at least 6 years old na. Still working.

But I am partial to my latest now, the Casio Edifice. Madalang ko nang isuot yung Timex. But Timex still has my respect.

Ako first time ko palang nakabili ng timex ironman triathlon noong August 7, 2010 sa sm cubao and it worth 2K+, ang ganda pa naman ng physical appearance and features nia, one month lang nag black-out na under normal use, pinacheck ko sa sevice center sa megamall pinalitan nila ng battery and after a week nag black-out na naman dinala ko ulit don at ang sabi module problem daw tapos magawa pinalitan ulit ng battery tpos ngayon na naman Nov. 1, 2010 mahina na naman ang battery. Balak ko ng ipa change unit nalang, pwede kaya yon under warranty pa naman sya eh? Ung dati kong watch kasi Casio Illuminator bilib ako don kasi tumagal sya ng 8 years kahit puro gasgas lang.

Isn't Timex made in the Philippines? The ones I used to wear were. I had Timex and Bulova watches as a kid. I preferred wearing the Timex ones. For some reason, they felt more comfortable. Nowadays, I wear el cheapo Casio digital and analog watches.

my li'l bro has a timex also.. 2 years working na ako ngayon ah and 2 years lang agwat namin ng li'l bro ko..

grade school pa namin nabili yung timex watch.. may indiglo ata yung kanya..

nabilib lang kami.. kasi na-dead batt na yung watch for more than 5 years.. nakalimutan namin tanggalin yung battery.. and so now tinry namin palagyan ng new battery for my "pamangkin" na.. hahahaha...

nagulat na lang kami na may batt pa pala sa loob ng watch at hindi nagtae yung batt plus.. working impressively yung watch.. lupit sa tibay.. grade school kapatid ko nun.. and now graduating na siya sa college.. it's been more than 5 years.. hahahaha..

Many years ago, I bought a nice looking Timex watch in the US for my wife. And then, I realized that it was made here... It still is functional up to now....

my experience with timex watches, medyo okay okay lang, had 2 and it lasted me about 2 years each bago totally nagretire.

Brand preference ko na ngayon kasi is casio (which deserves a different thread)

Same here. Matagal na akong Casio fan, sinubukan ko lang mag-Timex ten years ago due to budget constraints. Reliable naman yung movement, pero it's practically useless if the watch has either a broken case or rusted pit marks on the caseback. Sa takot ko, binigay ko na lang yung pangatlong Timex ko sa nanay ko.

Now I'm back to G-Shocks with 5 models to boot. Now THAT's how watches should be made.

ok naman siya. gamit ko siya pag-umaakyat ng mga bundok, pag langoy-langoy at kapag tumatakbo. more than a year ko na din siya ina-abuso haven't had any problems so far

Got 1 for my son...then a pair for me and the missus..planning to get one for my daughter as well.

IronMan Triathlon model for all 3 units...my son is almost 3 years old, funny...no battery change yet...cguro malapit na sya ma-drain.

I use it during casual wear...wash day at the office..weekend grocery trips.

depending sa features and styles/design and kung may diamond or quartz

I have this silver/stainless timex with 100M resistant, indiglo, glow the dark hands and has date it cost 11k
yung may diamong mga 30k depending sa features ng wac=tch dahil 30 M lang eh

Saka durable siya except yung leather straps 3yrs lang sira na

yung iba ko a decade old na okay pa

I have this Timex classic white face tri dial chronograph with Indiglo.

Never failed yet in the 4 years i've had it. Replaced the leather strap with generic rubber and it looks even better
