I've had three Timex watches since 1999. Yung pangatlo yung pinakamaganda (with tachymeter function), kaya lang kinalawang. Pero overall, ok naman siya.

Kaya lang kasi, I'm really a Casio G-Shock boy at heart, so three years ago my wife got me a unit for my birthday.

Nagkaroon na rin ako ng Timex Ironman, i've used it for Swimming, SCUBA diving, Skin diving, mountain climbing, hiking, ok pa naman.

i just bought one after retiring my other timex watch w/c served me a good 6 yrs din, nasira lang nung mabagsak ko at tumama ng solid sa sahig.

oks yung compass nya basta well calibrated. plastic body nga lang pinili ko dahil nag-ko-corrode daw yung metal pag pawisin ka. yung metal version, limited daw yung choices for the strap. 100 m meter water resist but haven't tried getting it wet though.

Timex watch a so-so for me, but in america its considered a below average-joe watch, kinda crappy, not much when it comes to design, and the customer service quality in our branch is very poor, but nevertheless kind of a good watch, in fact i own one i use a Timex expedition when going outdoors and when it comes to formal or none-outdoors type occassion i will always wear my trusty Omega Seamaster cos its very ***y, been with me for 2 years now

di naman gagamitin for orienteering of course... i'd always rely on a compass for serious orienteering. nifty feature lang if you want to find general direction lang, minsan kasi, you get lost sa road and you wanna find out w/c direction you're heading.

i've been wearing timex watches for 5 years now. i'm particularly impressed that it's pretty accurate at maintaing the correct time. during christmas they come up with some great promos where it's either buy one take one or huge discounts.

they have nice designs but a lot of them break easily. either it's the strap or the casing so i finally opted for an all metal one and i haven't had any problems except for some tarnish in the underside. over all, a decent watch but may not necessarily be a keeper.

Isn't Timex made in the Philippines? The ones I used to wear were. I had Timex and Bulova watches as a kid. I preferred wearing the Timex ones. For some reason, they felt more comfortable. Nowadays, I wear el cheapo Casio digital and analog watches.
