Try this. Chat with them and see what installer you need to download. Get the Pro version. You will be download the installer from microsoft.com site so it's safe. All they need to provide is the key.

MS (Microsoft) Office Professional Plus 219 for 15 PC Windows 1 with Genuine, Lifetime, Safe, Virus-Free Activation can be updated and login own account with no 365 subscription needed (Super Legit, not a crack software) 32 and 64-bit installer | Lazada PH

MS Office is now part of MS Office365 so it is now cloud-based and works on a subscription basis (monthly or yearly). Most retail laptops come free with a Windows OS but Office is mostly trial version. If you have a personal Office365 account subscription, you can enroll 5 machines to use it. Nasa 350 per month yung Office365 for home use.

P350 a month? (I am kuripot that way) I don't want to pay that much since I use Word or Excel maybe 2 or 3 times a year only. I can open the files but I can't edit or make a new one

Wala bang yung I can buy a CD and not pay subscription, kahit office 2000

You can buy Office Home and Student 2019 for a one-time purchase price of P7k.

Compare All Microsoft 365 Plans | Office 365 is now Microsoft 365

It's a cost of a typical visit to your casa. But if you think that it's still too steep, just use LibreOffice.

Personally, I'd get the M365 Family and split the difference among family members. You get a LOT more.

    Don't use Office 2000!

Why don’t you use your work Office account? Unless you’re out of a job. If you use Office365 at work, you can install it on your personal laptop.

350/month isn't bad... It comes with a 1TB OneDrive storage... That's close to unlimited.

    ***sorry for the OT***

my personal philosophy hanggang 25 years old lang pwede ang pirata, *25 years old and 1 day, dapat may pambayad na ng legit stuff (software, games, music and movies)

Quite pricey really specially for private companies who opt for the Office365 E3 corporate version. It’s around $300 per year per user.

I have an office 365 subscription for an individual. I've been planning to convert it to family subscription since konti lang naman dagdag. Pero the family is for 5 and we are only 4, sayang yung isa. And so far the individual subscription is allowing us to install and use it on multiple laptops. I'm actually waiting for a warning from Microsoft pero walang dumadating. It is still allowing us to use it in multiple laptops kahit ibat ibang Windows account per laptop.

Biggest Pro ng family subscription is that you get your own OneDrive each.

5 members ng family. each member can install to up to 5 devices (mobile devices not included)

dati rin gamit ng anak ko yung corporate account ko...

I realized the benefit of her having her own account when her school provided Office 365...

from all the IT staff na kakilala ko.

Kahit mas mahal and Office 365 (corporate) - it's basically cheaper in the long run kasi yung support and security sa kanila

No need to add hard drives kapag puno na yung local server - itinatawag lang nila
issue with mobile access - MS na din bahala
sharing files / remote access with OneDrive - better experience compared to locally installed servers+citrix

A lot of people have this impression that Office is just for Word, Excel, or PowerPoint when in fact, it has grown well beyond that. Despite that, there are still SKUs for those who just need the basic apps.

For the rest of us who deal with corporate data on a regular basis, collaboration tools, virtually unlimited cloud storage, and security, among many others, are features that are always front and center.... not an afterthought. For that, you have to pay the piper...

^for me its all about data...

For office tools, it's Microsoft vs Google

mas tiwala ka ba talagang itago files mo sa physical hard drive at home? or just save everything sa cloud?
