Not so User-friendly Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 does not seem to encase all the demands of the customers, and there can be many who may like to stay away from the gadget, claim some experts.
According to a new revelation, the handset maker has introduced some steps that may thwart users in the process of installing their own operating system. This may increase the risk of annulling their warranties, and so the customers have been found to refrain from the handset.
A process dubbed as flashing ROMs or installation of a custom OS is present in most of the Samsung Smartphones. In this manoeuvre, a flash counter is initiated that keeps an account of number of times a ROM was installed. Samsung doesn’t allow warranties on phones that have been flashed and thus the customers cannot claim for repairs.
There is no way out in this flashing issue as the gadget has a Knox security software in which the Galaxy Note 3 possesses eFuse. It is a technology that can rewrite the memory, and thus leave an indelible mark which is difficult to be obliterated. All the Samsung service centres have been commanded that all those devices that have been tampered must not be honoured.
So, it has been discovered that in order to have customized Android builds and flashing ROMs, the customers have been found to have switched to different devices.
The exhilaration of customizing the gadget outweighs the risk of voiding the warranty!

Been using my Note 3 for about four months now in a work environment setting and personal use. Very reliable by itself; doesn't freeze, hang, or reboot. But some apps like Kindle would stop once in a while. Screen will spoil you with its clarity. Battery will last me 2 days if all I do is browse the Net, call and text. Battery will drain fast when media playback is involved.
If you only buy one accessory, I suggest let that be a Power Bank. I bought a CD-R King rechargeable 8400mAhr Power Bank battery for around P700 and it has served me well countless times when I was out in the field and used the phone extensively.
I choose not to place a screen protector. So far, the Gorilla glass performed true to its claim. No scratches, spots or any artifacts; just super clear. If there was a screen protector, as in my other phones, I would see many tiny scratches and cloudiness. I did however bought a slim armor for some mechanical protection and for holding the phone better- and to hide that fake chrome trim.
I didn't bother removing the so-called "fluff" apps that went with the unit. Update from stock OS up to Kitkat 4.4.2 went flawlessly. Kudos to Samsung for this.
