Dual HDD setup, nice.
Would've had me if they used a PCIe SSD instead though. No SATA bottleneck! (for now).
check out asus G series too

im also considering buying gx660 i3-380, any other reviews from owners? im specifically concerned about build quality. TIA
let me share na din something i read from a forum about how to readily compare HD GPUs thru their model numbers. the first number only indicates the series of the unit while the second number is the one that tells us how powerful the unit is. Thus HD5145<HD6250<HD6470<HD5730<HD5870
Yep, this is correct. The same is true for Geforce cards. GT420 < GT240 < GTS250 < GTX260 < GTX460 < GTX570. In ATi cards though, the third number further expands the lineup for that particular card family. HD5830 < HD5850 < HD5870. RAM almost always means nothing in the realm of graphics cards.
MSI gaming notebooks (and their other laptops) are really great! I know because I own one - the GT620 with nVidia GTS 160m. I have this gaming lappy for about a year now and all I can say is wow! Also, marami na ding MSI gaming owners dito sa pinas. This gaming MSI is a great if not better alternative to ASUS ROG or Alienware. MSI all beats them in terms of pricing (local and international).
Regarding this GX660, with the ATI Radeon™ HD 5870* 1Gb GDDR5 VRAM, this is one of the best single gaming graphic card out there! I also plan to get this monster (as well as the MSI GT780 and a GE620) this November.
Bumaba na price ng GX660 with HD5870:
i5 - 480m, 8gig ram, 500gb hd = P47,000
i5 - 520m, 8gig ram, 500gb hd = P40,000
i3 - 380m, 2gig ram, 500gb hd = P36,000
I am sure mas bababa pa to sa November - December (MSI always droping its prices during these months).
i got the msi gx680 instead of the 660, 3k lang difference nila pero worth it. you get 1080p full hd, geforce gt 555m
