On my SmartBro before, I used Linksys WRT54G. No problem encountered for 2 years.

Gamit ko Linksys wrt54g. P3,150 from Octagon. Wired sa PC ko sa 1st flr and wifi sa laptop on the 2nd flr. Pwede parehong wired. What you will only need is a long ethernet cable from one of the router's 4 ports to your laptop internet port, long enough to reach both units. The lone cable supplied from the router's pack is just about 1.5 meters. I also plan to set both computers wired but somehow satisfied naman ako sa signal between my router and laptop.

July 6th, 2008 07:28 AM #19the speed booster "supposedly" increases speeds, however i believe it's not worth the extra cash. for normal surfing, browsing, downloading just get the wrt54g, with stable firmware. that's all you'll ever need (for now).
