Modifying PS2

Mga peeps,

We have this PS2 for the past two years and it can only play original PS2 games which cost an arm and a leg to buy. I want to play games that are cheaper (meaning :naughty2: you know what I mean). Has any of you tried unlocking/modifying your consoles? Pwedeng ma-DIY? Step-by-step procedure if ever. Thanks mga bros and sis.

You will need to have your PS2 unit modified with a chip. It is not something you can just do at home.

If you live in metro manila, you can try visiting a shop named EYO located at the 3rd floor of V-Mall in Greenhills. They can do the chip upgrade for you there.
