has anyone used them? matibay ba? di kasi tumatagal ung hp sa amin, 2-3 years nasisira talaga despite very light use. i'm thinking na kung siguradong masisira after some time, we might as well get a cheaper brand

Not sure about their plasmas but IMO, Microtek is a known electronic gadget brand.

you need to open the scanner...depende sa model pero most of the bolt are found underneath and should be opened by a philips screwdriver.

pagkakalas ng bolt, ibaligtad mo ulit at tsaka mo alisin yung taas (this would include the cover and the glass part)...maihiwalay mo na ito from the base (and the mechanical portion).

Yung bakal na "runner" and dapat may grasa. You will need to use silicon grease (white ang color nito) and not the car grease (brown or red colored). Silicon grease is usually available sa electronic stores...eto yung grease na ginagamit sa mga IC or transistors that needs to be mounted on heatsink.
