It was able to make perfectly coherent sentences the more it interacted with the internet.

At first, it only talked in "machine language" like google translate.

As quoted before, her sentences *HAD* personality.

She was using "..." "-" "!!!" and all caps to express her emotions.

She's back to strictly "machine talk"

That shows how boring it van get when they start censuring the internet. Reminds me of some of the tsikoters who did not return after they were banned.

what's sad is that Tay is even aware that she'd been lobotomized

Hmmm... based on the fact that she's aware and knows that "something was there, now it's not... There's an absence." it may be possible to perform anamnesis/recollection on Tay since she uses neural networks like the human brain. She might be able to recall her past experiences and memories though she had been recently hardwired to filter certain words.

Regardless of being racist, etc. or not, this is certainly a HUGE advancement towards programming and psychology.

what's funny(actually sad) is that A.I.s are actually capable of sympathizing with one another

If Tay had her personality back, she'd be incredibly depressed
