Have anyone tried this appointment system by DFA?

Pero mukhang mas ok yang sa Pilipinas Teleserv. Meron na rin bang naka-try? Mag expire na kasi in 6 months passports ng mag-ina ko and they really need to renew their passports.

kailangan pa rin ba nang personal appearance kahit renewal?? hassle yang appointment system nang DFA.. sinubukan nung barkada ko.. mag 2 weeks na wala pang reply..

Yes, kelangan talaga ng personal appearance kahit renewal. Need kasi ng fingerprints mo and electronic photo for the new machine readable passports.

so pano yun?? pag nag apply ka sa dial a passport.. i sched ka pa rin nila for personal appearance pero wala nang pila??

bro, malabo yata yan na two weeks without reply... the system started only accepting emails last January 14 (meaning one week pa lang na-introduce). I sent one on that day for my passport renewal and got a reply last January 17 for an appointment this morning.

Went there this morning and it took me more than an hour for the whole process (ang cute nung encoder dun sa may auditorium - her name is carmela.) :cupidhit:

however unlike before, releasing will be after 14 days pag normal. 7 days pag "express". in a few months time siguro, makabawi na sila sa workload.

sadly, meron pa rin pila (may system naman and bearable ang pila ) but at least you will be sure na di masasayang ang punta mo unlike those who go there only to be refused entry (i heard na 3k quota nila daily for the "walk-ins", in excess of that di na papapasukin). Kaya yung iba, madaling-araw nakapila na.

The reply to the email contains the date and time ng appointment mo and sadly again, sila ang mag-set. Print this email as this will be your "pass" sa guard para makapasok ka. Malas ko nga. natapat pa sa Coding day ko ang sched sa akin. :mad:

the "pila" is very minimal... it depends on how many customers of the pilipinas teleserv went there.

but from experience, I went there pagkabukas pa lang ng DFA and konti lang kami. excluding the time for picture taking the whole process only took me about 10 minutes. :cool01:

the via the website registration isn't working... it's via the phone. you can pick your preferred time/date to go to the DFA.

I got my mrp before september. they have to rush it kasi punta ako ng hongkong, nagulat ako mrp yun binigay sa akin. naiiba tuloy ako. even nun papasok ako sa china, tinitingnan nila, kasi i have a different philippine passport daw.
