got my mp3 player during my last trip to the U.s. but i got the Rio Carbon (a worthy competitor of the ipod mini during their time) after about 6 months of use, it's now just resting at the backseat of my car..hehehe...pag tagal tagal, nakakasawa naren kase i update yung mga songs at tanggal balik ng player between my pc and the one in the office...or siguro busy nalang ako. but once in a while gamit paren but as a flash drive most of the time.

Ipod pa rin ba ang the best as far as mp3 player is concerned? Which ipod is the best for a teen age daughter? Yung affordable lang pero mae- enjoy niya. Thanks.

iPod is still the best-seller at maraming accessories but i'm sure merong mag-disagree na the best player sya. ;)

if budget is not a problem and maingat daughter mo, i suggest the iPod nano (1gb to 4gb - will set you back from 9k+ to 14k). lagyan nyo lang kaagad ng protective sheet para iwas scratches.

maraming ding lumabas na (generic) mp3 players as low as 1.2k to 5k. (128mb to 1Gb). usually may fm radio tuner na. merong ding mga iPod knock-offs! check them out sa e-bay if you have time. got one for my gradeschooler. after 3 months, wala pa namang problema and she's enjoying it!!!

    good luck!

worth it kung gagamitin ng maigi. in my case 2nd gen 20gb years ago, now 60gb video for about 4-5hrs a day on weekdays listening to recorded radio program.

i agree, nano for younger users. make sure you get skins or case a.s.a.p. with it.

    Ummm the price?

Parang sa kotse din yan... If you can afford and maintain a Porche bakit ka magtitiyaga sa Jap cars.

depends on the user. i prefer an mp3 player with an fm tuner. mabilis ako magsawa. ok lang sa kin kahit walang lcd display basta good ang sound quality. currently, i use my other celphone (nok ngage classic) as my mp3 player, fm tuner, video player and portable console since i don't have the moolah for a psp. pero for a daughter, mas ok na siguro ang ipod. cute ang dating. sana kung meron lang ganito
sa pilipinas. it's a great alternative for the shuffle para sa akin.

ako, honestly, di ko type yung bagong Nano or Video. parang ang fragile eh.
that's why i am still keeping my 4G-20GB. kung papalitan ko siguro eh Creative na rin o kaya Archos.

i have the ipod video pero lately para gusto ko nano na lang coz I'm using it sa gym and outdoors. all I can say is i'm glad I bought the ipod, sobrang daming freeware software to support the Ipod. that's the advantage of so many people around the world owning an Ipod. they get to be productive of it and sharing resources with it is a bonus. dunno 'bout others though.

Don't get the Nano, it's rubbish. The generic players floating around 7k and below are excellent if you want Nano capacity. Also, the generic players can more easily function as USB storage devices (damn iTunes)!
