Starbucks Fort beside shell station...fire up your wireless and there's one wireless access point called "god is great"...if its still there

    OT

yung airbrone/starbuck may promo: 300 pesos for 5 hours + FREE 100 pesos g.c. from Starbucks....check your local Starbucks/Airborne access location

payag naman starbucks and most coffee shops na makiplug ka ng AC adaptor. di pa naman kami sinasaway, even if we don't avail of their wifi service.

Surfing here at starbucks Fort in front of autotechnika/CATS right now for free.

There's an AC outlet sa window pane floor level sa side facing snowstorm/PNB superteller ATM where you can plug your adaptor.

Surf for free by picking up the "wirelessgroup" ssid.

Bwehehe... ganoon din sa Brent. Had the luck to eat at their cafeteria a few times when I drove for my Mom (for meetings)...

In Alabang... Friday's, Alabang Town Center, ask for a password (but it's free). Outback, same.

"pwede" but wifi sometimes drops the signal which results with your game getting cut or getting laggy especially if its a real-time action type game. If you are just browsing the web, you don't notice the drop in the connection.

wifi signals sometimes drops usually due to signal interference (example: another device using the same 2.4ghz frequency). When this happens, it depends on the application if you will get cut off or just lag. Like when I watch my downloaded movies & TV shows on my home wifi network, sometimes the movie would lag (minimal pause) a bit during playback. Other times (but much rarer), it would stop totally and require to restart the video application.

Wifi or other wireless internet services (Smart's Wireless, AZCOM's Satellite service, etcetera...) aren't exactly the best choice when playing online. For online games, you want DSL.

actually a WiFi network system is different from SmartWiFi. SmartWiFi is simply using the celfone network to provide wireless highspeed internet access. A true WiFi network is the one typically refered to the 2.4ghz wireless local area network.
