I don't think you have to be a Skycable subscriber to be able to watch it because the LG app doesn't even require you to log-in. My guess is may deal ang ABS-CBN sa LG (coz they do use LG on their shows like TV Patrol etc) kaya libre? Try and ask the salesman if they can demo the unit and if they have wifi have them connect the tv to try the app. But like I said, it's free and I've never registered.

BTW my CATV internet speed is about 1mbps & 0.4mbps for download & upload respectively. would there be any issue on video buffering set at lowest video quality for youtube or any LG media app?
