Hmm, water interruptions and lower water pressure in MM, yet we are consistently being drenched for the past weeks. Ironic, and not in the interesting way.

Based on the evidence, i suspect it's more a matter of our dams not being able to store enough water, than a lack of water.

You maybe right. Imagine the dam capacity is not growing while metro manila is getting hundredthousands of new residents per year. In 10-20 years the country probably needs a desalination plant to meet needs.

re floods: my feeling is that our drainage system is either inadequate or clogged up with so much garbage, not so much with the amount of rain. Dito lang sa amin, andaming lupa/putik napupunta sa estero from the condo projects.

Dengue outbreak. I wonder if this is related to the El Nino phenomenon.

yep, be prepared... where do you think the hot exhaust of vehicles stuck at traffic went due to poor government planning?

we shall all pay the price of this, except the government who lives at posh villages with 24 hour air conditioning...

Strong easterly wind flow meant the normal sea breeze did not kick in for Metro Manila. If you want it cool, you should travel to the east coast of Luzon where that same easterly flow is moderating temperatures more.
