What brands do you suggest and where to buy them? My budget would be around 2-2.5k. Wag lang sana yung mabigat which would defeat the purpose of getting a light notebook.

    TIA

I bought a Case Logic laptop carrying sleeve/case in the states. About 20 dollars, roughly 1k Pesos. It's very durable, it holds the laptop and just the laptop. Anything else would be bulky. I used to carry around the ac adaptor, and mouse, and it would create a bulge. But this is the case I have, and it's very durable, very light weight, and it should protect the laptop if you were to bump into things. I'm not sure if they have it here, but, if you do see it, I think it's worth it. It's not bulky unless you throw other things in there. Very sleek siya.
The back side has a hard plastic underneath the cushioning so that the bag doesn't flex and twist.

    Brands (order by preference):
    Samsonite
    Hedgren
    Case Logic

If you want cheap, sturdy and lots of selection go to Apple store/Robinsons Place or Rustan's/Makati. They have lots of selections...

I use a samsonite back pack very satisfied. Lots of carry space and good support for your laptop.

Been looking one for over a week now, eto mga nakita ko:

around 1k-2k - brands like Hawk, Ilustrazio
around 2k- American Tourister (my choice if wala pa din ako makita, safe talaga laptop coz naka-angat yung support pouch in case ma-drop ang bag, di tatama ung lappy at daming pockets/sleeves to put some etc.)
    around 3k plus - Samsonite

I currently use a black Echolac backpack for the laptop. The good thing about it is you wouldn't suspect that it actually holds a laptop, so it's less prone to theft.

*vhenok, mag american tourister ka na lang... sulit.... hehehehe. ako may kasama pang mga extra damit para pag may mga times na di makakauwi....

*fafa miko, you can also look for Targus... dami nyan sa mga computer shops din.

or pwede na din ang north face, para pwedeng pang harabas. yung mga latest models nila, pwede ng magkarga ng laptop. kaya lang medyo pricey..

i will be designing my own laptop bag, i have a contact already na pwede gumawa nito, then ill put the tsikot logo there hehehe.

:naughty2:

diba mabigat yung American Tourister at Samsonite? their other bags/suitcases certainly are.

i don't recommend Targus if you want a light backpack. my company got me one and it felt like the bag was heavier than the computer

the best ones i've seen are made by Tumi...but i believe they may be out of the price range.

browsed through the net, maganda para sakin design ng crumpler bags. i'm leaning towards this style:

yun nga lang, wala ata mashadong ibang compartments for the adaptor, optional mouse. also, baka way out of my budget. will drop by digital walker sa vmall since they're the official distributor to get an idea on pricing.

    *** EDIT ***
found out that the price for the bag in the posted pic is P2,450. not bad!

    eto specs niya:
Compact padded laptop sleeve tailored for 14 & 15" laptops and a few accessories.
Water resistant 900D Nylon shell & 420D Ripstop Nylon lining
    Padded laptop compartment
    Large external gusseted zip pocket
    Adjustable & removable main strap
    Carry handle
    Velcro release flap
    Fits most 14 & 15" laptops

crumplers are good..especially sa porma. they also have alot of camera bags...

pero yun na nga.porma lang. i dont like their padding. not enough for my precious.

I'd still suggest a samsonite (mine is not heavy at all...) or anything else basta may enough padding and slots. I got a samsonite backpack and i feel safe with it.
