Survey lang: Anu-ano po ang klase ng applications ang dinidevelop nyo using Java?

I'm interested kasi gusto ko malaman kung saan bumibenta ang Java (Forgive me for the term. Just figure of speech). Aside from the multi-platform and WORA (write once, run anywhere) features, Microsoft even include it in their Visual Studios which inspired them to have a version of their own in the form of C-Sharp.

BTW, I'm doing Java stuffs to create dynamic web pages (ie. servlets and JSP) and multi-threaded services in Linux which listens to the port. Aside from that, wala na.

If you could share how important the Application Servers (ie. GlassFish, JBoss), it would be greatly appreciated.
