Total noob on labelers. Please suggest a brand and model that satisfies the following:

1. Portable (runs on AA batteries)
2. Can print labels that are approx. 1 cm wide (I don't know the standard width)
3. Replacement cartridges are available in most office supply stores
4. Needless to say, should not be too expensive (especially the cartridges)

I need it primarily for the home and to put name tags on my son's school things.
