pero sa ipod you can't play games...

Di ba mas mahal ang iPod video? at meron ka nang PSP? suggestion...iPod video naman.

You can also play games on iPod, pero parang nasa 80's ka.

it would depend on your need, imho.

if you are getting the PSP, you enjoy portable games which are not at the IPOD. but very bulky. and you can watch movies in a bigger screen. the catch, you need to have a bigger storage.

if you are getting the IPOD, you cannot play games, but you can enjoy your music and movies anywhere without the bulk.

personally, i would get the IPOD. although i have both the PSP and the IPOD, yung IPOD nano ko na 2G eh 4GB lang. and walang movies.

I bought a PSP when faced with that PSP/iPod dilemma. Why?

    1. Fairly large, beautiful screen, relatively speaking
    2. Built-in WiFi/internet browsing (no iPod Touch yet)
    3. Portable gaming with "serious games"
    4. Drag and Drop simplicity from Windows Explorer
    5. I always have a laptop with me. So, the storage deficit isn't that bad. The 4gb and 8gb storage cards (memory stick duo) are more than enough to hold all the video files I intended to watch (and then some).*

The only reason I'd choose an iPod is if I intended to have my whole inventory of files with me. I have over 200gb of movies. So, even an iPod cannot hold them all. Might as well choose the PSP with its removable storage.*

What's strange is that an iPod mp4 works better (more viewing options) in a PSP than one purposely designed for a PSP. Weird. Anyone else noticed this?

*Apple seemed to notice these habits too which is probably why the iPod Touch has less capacity storage. But, being flash storage also meant no moving parts and thus, longer video playback times.

Add: The PSP itself cost me $166. The 4gb storage card cost me $90. The 8gb storage cost me $160.

The 4gb storage hold half-hour episodes/music videos/jpegs/save games while the 8gb hold strictly full-feature movies.

How long is battery life for a video iPod? With the PSP on dim to medium brightness, medium volume, ear buds, empty UMD bay, all movies in flash storage, I got over 6 hours with power still (1 bar) remaining.

I'd love to buy an iPod Touch. But, I just bought the PSP and laptop (plus a 2nd Mac Mini). So, no dice on the iPod Touch according to the wife... tsk tsk

If it were me, PSP na. Apple was never known for games anyway.

Besides, it makes absolutely no sense for me to strain my eyes watching movies on a piffling color display, iPod video or not.

The screen on the original iPod Video might be small. But the one on the iPod Touch is pretty decent although still smaller than the PSP's.

But, they're all ok on flights, especially when flying coach.

Or buy one of this for iPod or PSP. This should be good for some "sosy" points

Ipod for me since you have a PSP already, especially if you can get the Ipod Touch. But since no choice ka, get the PSP and sell one of them nalang

$160 ~ P8000 back here. 8gb is still good for around 18 full-blown movies, twice that for 30-minute shows like The Simpsons/Starblazers, or a whole gaggle of YouTube converted videos.
