    4 months palang after intel announced it. myroon na pala sa atin. the Intel Core i7 920 costs 14k. cheaper than Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83Ghz which is more less 16k.

    wala parin akong narining na mobile version, but it would be great for mobile version nga.

    but for desktop 3D/video projects, I think mas maganda parin quad-cores. intel really makes a good strategy on running a long lasting business. i7 is only good for multi-tasking leaving the multi-cores behind. but for rendering, processing, mas lamang pa ang multi-cores. so kahit may i7, quad-cores will stay on the market side-by side with i7.

    kung Photochop, dreamweaber, plash running the same time, maganda i7.

    kung Photscop, 3dmaxx, fremier, after effeks rendering, mas maganda parin quad-cores...

    kung web surfing, downloading, pentium 4 ok na.

    If I'm to build a new Rig right now. I think mas maganda quad-core. basta I'd stuff it up with cheap DDR2's 800-1266 or kung may DDR3+

    3rd quarter this year pala itong mobile I7. kelangan na kasi mapalitan tong celeron ko na laptop eh. ******* lang eh nagcacrash na .

    ay mali pala pagkabasa ko sa benchmark... sorry... i7 is a multicore and hyper-thread. hehe... the benchmark I saw says lower-the better. hindi ko na notice. mabilis nga itong i7. the only issues daw eh yung old games that cannot play on multi-cores + hyperthreads...
