You can try going to Architectural Audio. The address is at New World Hotel. Tel. 8116715. They carry Harman Kardon and Denon. You can try to demo the H/K 225 and the Denon 1603 too. They are about the same price range as the Marantz and the Yamaha. You can demo naman the Yamaha at Listening in Style sa Shangrila Mall.

You can also try The Home Theater in Makati (8125235), may Yamaha at Marantz (yata) dun.

sa budget mo i'll get separates

prone to upgrade pero worth sa ear

ako limited lang budget ko kaya i opted for the yamaha tss-1 (9k+ only)
good for small room pero bitin sa bass,that's i ended up buying an active subwoofer

invest in good fronts and center speakers (wharfdale is good)
then a receiver, d ko na alam new models pero get a atleast a 1 notch higher than lowest model
rear naman kahit yang existing component speakers will do
invest also in wires

You can try Mitsubishi and Toshiba.

Sony is a bit behind with regards to projection TVs.

Upgrade ako TV bili ng Philips 29 " pixel plus, yun lang nakayanan ko eh. Ganda ng pic
quality, sarap manood ng dvds, receiver naman susunod, gastos na naman :mrgreen:

lancelot, toshiba is a great TV, nice "tunay" na colors
yung sony pag tagal masakit sa mata, alam ko sa SM appliance may toshiba
