Thanks kabayan, I was kind of worried kasi newbie talaga ako sa home theater, Hindi ko alam kung ok yung mga choices ko at least ngayon medyo magaang na loob ko. salamat sa pagpuri

almost kung icoconvert. my budget was suppose to be C$8K but balooned to
C$11K.TV stand alone was C$1K.

Dont worry 5speed, Ill post some pictures ASAP.Medyo matatagalan lang, kasi my wife and I just bought a new house as well, so I had everything laid away muna sa store for the meantime. It will prolly take about a month or so before we move in and get evrything settled in our new home. Until then stay tuned and keep on posting

just updated my set up from 29 in. Panasonic flat crt to the new 50 in. sony grand wega 3lcd projection tv (kf-we50) and I added a 10 in.velodyne cht-10r(w/ remote) subwoofer.

Nice widescreen HDTV.Thats certainly the rightway to go. How many inches is that one?And is the HLP a new technology for samsung, or is it the same as DLP?

nice set up the josh. I like.... I almost bought a similar wooden tv stand but I ended up buying the matching tv stand for my panny which i also liked.

mitsubishi home theater portable projector, $1000

11K (sale) for JVC 5.1DD/DTS 100W
15K for wharfdale speakers and 300w dynaquest sub
5K for pioneer DVD player
around 5K for interconnects and speaker cables.

satisfied naman na ako sa setup ko. nasa sala pa nakalagay, i'll be moving the setup into a vacated room. gagawin ko ng AV room, baka mas gumanda pa yung sound dahil enclosed na yung area.

It's a 50" model...HLP was last years model lineup...and yes its a DLP...
