with all honesty...there ARE better out there for 3/4 of that price.

    Speakers:
    Front DTX 9.5T
    Center DTX 9.5C
    Rear DTX 9.5B
    Subwoofer DTX4.12 (12 inchers baby!!!)
(Dtx speakers are export product of dai-ichi, phil made ito, at par with china made branded entry level speakers.

siguro marami ka pang sobra for dvds niyan.

    check out www.pinoydvd.com [/B]
this dtx set up will cost you about 14.5k, plus 2k for speaker cables, optical cable for audio, and component video cable, banana plugs, etc.

got my rxv440 from www.pinoydvd.com for only 9k courtesy of sir audioslave. brand new 440s cost about 13.3k at ambassador appliances.

a pioneer dvd player costs around 5.5k.

total = around 30k (or if brand new yung yammie, 35k)

to me, this set-up rocks for a newbie sa HT like me.

    correct.

sir Q, pareho pala tayo ng setup, ang lakas na ano pwede na sa 30-50 sq meters na room,

ang galing pa nito yung sub ko (DTX4.10) eh naka minimum, nung nilakasan ko nayanig ang kisame ko,

    Cardo,
oo nga pala, when auditioning ask the sales kung broken-in na ang speakers that they will be using, kasi night and day ang difference ng out of the box at broken-in na speaker.

thanks guys! medyo busy ako last weekend. kakaexcite ang HT hehehe

well, nakapag canvass ako over the weekend here sa filinvest. there were a couple of shops that carry HT packages...

There are a couple of Yamaha packages all yamaha speakers:
    http://img24.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img24&image=DSC00857.jpg
    http://img38.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img38&image=DSC00863.jpg

So what do you think of them? Oks ba? or I can get a better deal somewhere or with something else.

Meron rin ako nakita mga B&W but for 50k you only get 2 pairs of 3way towers. Di ko pa alam kung entry sya or high end model na.

hows about NHT? They have this package, 2 Floor standing(2way ST4), 2 bookshelves(SB3), center(SC1), sub(forgot the model) and a marantz(SR4400) receiver. but it was more than expensive than the yamaha. inaudition ko and it was jaw dropping! ganda pa ng finish kase the wood is like those of expensive pianos - smooth and glossy black wood. jaw dropping din yun price

anyways, I made my first purchase with a 50inch toshiba ;D may free dvd and 20 inch TV pa hehehe.

ewan ko, parang overkill ata yun TV hehehe. But i'm excited! can't wait for its delivery.

naubos na lahat ng budget ko sa TV. well, atleast i'm already looking 4ward to xmas bonus hehehe

siguro isa isahin ko na lang yun iba pang components... pano pala yun path dito? should I get a receiver(6.1)? then two towers? bookshelves? then center? and last sub? or may iba pang way?

Plano ko sana magbookshelves, then some rear satellites, then upgrade to towers and move the bookshelves to the side... then the satellites to the rear. and then get a sub then center channel... what do you think? pede kaya to? so in the long run magiging 7.1 right?

also, what do you think of ATHENASPEAKERS?

    sir fierari,

ako nga! he he he. masama pa naman loob nung mama. sabagay, di din nya ma close yung deal kaagad kc nasa province cya, e tinakbo ko kaagad. ayun tuloy, everyday nagpo post kung may magbebenta ba.

kung upgrade ka sa hk230, ibenta mo na lang sa kanya yung 440 mo. he he he

    sir cardo,

suggestion sa dvd player, yung pioneer 667A, maganda daw yun, lahat na ng klaseng media (SACD, DVD-A, DiVX) kaya.

Harman Kardon 230 nasa 25K bracket.

ok ang HK, kaso nga medyo pricey na ito, during the time i bought my 440, ang HK na available dito is the 2550 which is 5.1 only.

    try this site http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Holl...1/ratevsac.htm

HK nga jan bilib ako sa watts e underated at ciempre you get what you paid for pati tunog harman kardon ahahayyyyyyyy

yup, pero 6.1 din in nature...
so far wala pang 7.1 discreet na software to maximize this feature.

7 independent SPEAKERS pero 6 discreet sounds only. (kung DTS-ES ah)

so kung hindi, matrixed lang ang sound so 5.1 pa rin. he..he ang gulo ba?

anyways mas mataas naman ang wattage ng 330 so go for it!!!

sa experience ko, ok ang HK with Monitor Audio, also alam ko pwede din lagyan ng "TONO"Tube Pre-Amp na gawa nila Arnold.

    Yup! its 4:3 and 16:9

    Hey guys,

Medyo malapit na mabuo yun setup... Here's the Plan:

Infinity Primus yun speakers which include 360(front), 160(rear), c25 and JBL E150(10" 150W) sub. yun TV is Toshiba 50SH9UC. Sa receiver, tho di pa final is the HK avr 330 or Yamaha RXV750. Yun player HK DVD22 or Pioneer 667A.

So what do you think? Should I go H/K or Yamaha?

Sa dvd player, I hear HK medyo mapili daw? kahit ba sa orig? well, i'm planning to put in bootleg dvd's anyway...

Nakapag audition ako ng Mission(M5 series), Bostons(Bookshelves) and NHT. Although mas smooth yun tweeters nila, it was a bit lacking sa mids and lows. Parang kulang and its 2x or more expensive.

yup. the dtx 9.5 rocks. d pa masakit sa bulsa. you couldve purchased the set lower than 7.8k if you asked for the 5% discount. palagay ko mga 7.2k lang.
