I didn't place properly my (meh) HP Pavilion ze5270 in it's laptop case at the back of a friend's Lexus SUV. It was on top of some suitcases. So when I opened the back door, out came my laptop and dropped 5-6 feet to the pavement. It still works ok. I'm hoping it dies so I can buy a new Core Duo lappie.

    2. once connected, press [Fn] and [F8] (or [F5] for some systems) at the same time to toggle between display modes. iirc, it goes like this: laptop LCD -> ext monitor -> laptop LCD and ext monitor.

Our company tried other lappies before....compaq, hp, dell and toshiba.....

toshiba at IBM na lang ang nagsu-survive.....but now we prefer the IBM more.....subok na namin....

Oh yes, many times na, and I have the dents, scratches, and cracks to prove it.

So far, I had to replace my HD, every year due to the shocks. Yung LCD hindi pa naman nasira. I got the magnesium alloy LCD back cover kasi.

    Hazardeous kasi a work ko.

BTW, I use the Toshiba Tecra.

    Eto...demo:
