Just in case you haven't heard about Skype,
it's a VoIP (voice over internet protocol) software
which was created by the makers of Kazaa.
They claim that it has better sound quality than regular phone lines or current VoIP software out there. (i.e. YM's voice chat feature, Internet Phone, Cisco's VoIP solutions, etc.)
Has anybody here ever tried it yet? I've downloaded it
but have not yet been able to test it due to my busy schedule, but i'm planning to test it over the weekend.

oh yeah... it's in its Beta version now... and is totally free....

We are now using it in our company. It's great. This would translate to a lot of saving in telephone bills considering that we have offices nationwide and in Southeast Asia. I'm now trying the Beta version.

I've tried it and its great. You can call PC to PC, or PC to landline/mobile or a landline/mobile can call you.
Yung PC to PC lang ang free but the rates for calling a normal phone (skype out) are still quite low. Pwede ka ding tawagan ng normal phone (skype in) sa computer mo (competitive rates uli). Another nice thing sa kanya is that there's a linux version.

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
