click on our sponsor R.SUN - seller sila nyan.

I think it is between P2800 yung 80GB and P3900 yung 120GB. icheck mu lang baka SATA drive yan (magkaiba kasi ang connector ng SATA sa ordinary drive).

    According to www.rsun.com.ph

    Seagate 80Gb Momentus HDD 5400rpm = 2,800
Seagate 120GB Momentus HDD 5400rpm = 3,900 (same price for SATA)

check first if your laptop HD's connector is PATA (the old one with many pins) or SATA before you buy. Get the Seagate, para 5-yrs warranty

merun din nga palang "refurbished" seagates...kaya minsan mura yun. eto yung mga nagkaproblem at nireplace ng seagate....when they replace it, they'll give you brandnew pero yung unit you sent back will be refurbished and resold at lower price.

get the HITACHI travelstar kasi proven na sila sa laptop HD, get the 5400rpm para mabilis ang loading, i think 80G sa PCX is 2800

Just got mine last week in PC Express SATA 100gb HD Seagate. Here is the thing, my notebook is just less than a year and the HD gave up. Brought it to Toshiba and they say that the parts are unavailable. Went down our building to check on PC Express and they have the Seagate on hand. The technician removed the Toshiba HD and guess what, made in the Philippines. It is just unfortunate that it is locally unavailable and we need to order overseas. How ironic isnt it. I just found out HDs are very sensitive to shocks and my notebook just got a previous stomping, hence the breakage.

Btw, bought the Seagate for P3300.

if you're using a laptop as your primary means for computing, i suggest you always back up your data in a separate HDD...laptops are mobile devices while hard disk are mechanical in nature thus it is prone to shocks.

Recently bought a 200GB External USB Storage HD (Hitachi) for on 5,700. I would like to replace sana the 100GB internal HD of my Laptop...kaso I would also need 200GB for backing it up.

How do use Acronis? It came preinstalled in my laptop but I've never used it. I'm planning on upgrading my harddrive so need to figure it out.

I recently saw a 160GB Western Digital laptop drive selling for 2900 pesos only. Sobrang mura! Cheaper than most 120GB drives. 1 year warranty daw. Almost bought it pero nagdalwang isip ako at baka may catch.

Advice naman should I buy it or not?
