Also did sa mga SM Cyberzone shops... Samsungs are about 3k to 5k cheaper sa gh vs sa cyberzone...

Ang question ko, how can both claim to give manufacturers warranty 1year for that big a price difference?

Last time I checked sa isang Samsung outlet sa SM, Note2 is P28K and S3 is P25K... (cash only)

Magkano sila sa GH? P25K and P22K respectively? Good deal kung ganoon!

Another factor bakit mas mura ang nasa GH is yun rental cost.

^^^ Sis,- there is actually one here at SouthMall,- third floor...

At that price(compared to S3),- purchase of Note2 is a no brainer.

Any Samsung Phone that does not come with a NTC sticker are likely grey market phones, probably sourced from Singapore, Australia or even the Middle East. Their chargers are not the local two flat plug. They do not come with Samsung Philippines 1-year Warranty. Samsung allows change unit if proven defective. They are cheaper, but only come with 6 months store warranty.

i'm with sir Retz on this one -- if 2-3k lang ang difference, might as well go to the official samsung store.

i'm reminded of my friend, bumili siya ng iphone 4S sa GH. Nung nagkaproblem, binalik namin sa store, which suggested na either ipa repair daw nila sa technician -- which will ruin the warranty -- or ipadala sa Korea where the unit para irepair. In the end my friend ended up selling the iphone for spare parts.

i've also heard some rumors that the stores may swap out some original components para mabenta nila as spare parts.

i bought an SGS2 not so long ago from the Samsung store. With around 2 months left in the warranty, it suddenly went dead. The technician said it was a board problem, then replaced it outright. No headaches, and my phone got flashed with ICS 4.0 pa.

Don't get me wrong, GH/V-Mall is one of my favorite hangouts and i love wrecking, este, tweaking stuff...but if you're gonna drop 30-40k, you might as well get it from an authorized dealer with warranty.

Hmm..good point sir Yebo. i'll make it a point to visit Robinsons malls first.

Wala bang Samsung sa Makati? That's so weird na Digital Walker sells the Note 2 for P29,990. Mas mahal pa sa Samsung mismo? Saka nakakagulat din na large stores in malls get away with selling grey market phones?

^ Laki kasing risk pag may nasira na part, sabi nila pag grey market di kasama parts sa warranty.
