Our side by side 21cubic ref also went the way of the junk. Lakas sa kuryente e. No one wants it.

If you've got an old ref that's guzzling electricity like there's no tomorrow, there are some things you can do to fix it.
Here's an interesting one:
Make your old fridge green by insulating it
Seems cheap and easy to do. I'm going to try it myself. Don't expect the same fifty percent savings, as my ref is relatively new, but a 25% reduction in consumption will make it worth my while.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
expensive. also, malalaki yung may inverter technology na ref, baka hindi kasya sa provision space para sa ref. smallest i've seen is 11cub ft.
mga 2-3hrs lang sir just to be safe. bili ka na lang ng timer as pointed out earlier.
Meralco has FINALLY come up with a Net Metering scheme. Anybody interested in pursuing such an implementation?
Lighting for my house has been offgrid for 10 months now, saving more or less 1k a month with just 240w of solar panel and battery.
Since legal na ang net metering, iplan to upgrade the rest of the house to a 1kw on grid system. Low consumption lang naman ako pag umaga bihira aircon and para mag negative ang metro ko, and just use meralco at night. Been scouting the green power exhibit at smx, madaming option don.

How about maintenance? How often would you clean your panels? You did anything to manage heat? Thanks.
It's an arrangement wherein establishments install mechanism(s) like solar panels, windmills, etc. to produce electricity that is fed directly into the grid. No need for storage like batteries that is susceptible to energy loss and adds to the traditionally high costs of such implementations.
Electricity produced is then is credited to your periodical electric usage.
In other words, with those in place, and you're not using any electricity, your meter will actually go backwards.

Sir, sa residential ba yan commercial or industrial ung NET metering?
I have heard of prepaid electric meters but meters actually going backwards? this is something new.![]()
