tawengo - Sa ebay UK ba bumili yung kapatid mo o sa ebay Phil.? Papaano din nagbayad? Malaking pera yang £400 para magtiwala sa overseas seller. Like what v6dreamer posted, thru paypal sana transaction ng payment, which is what most sellers use (at least in the UK). AFAIK, kapag may complaint sa paypal, naka-freeze ang account ng seller sa paypal hanggang maayos yung gulo.

always use paypal as a form of payment. buyers are protected for non-delivered items because they ask the seller for a tracking number. if the seller is unable to give the tracking number after three requests , paypal will reverse the payment automatically.

di po pedeng manghula ng tracking number atsaka kung ikaw ang buyer, just pay extra na lang sa signature confirmation.. wala talagang lusot yung seller dun.

tracking number ng package pwede itrace date, origin and destination so safe hindi yan basta basta pwede imbento.
isa pa, never purchase expensive items sa intl ebay, i always limit myself to $100 items para hindi masakit kung sakali lolokohin ako, pero since may paypal na dito mas confident na ako.

June 11th, 2007 04:26 PM #19dunno kung sa ebay phil. ba or UK. di ko rin alam how he paid the seller, he was skeptical at first but seeing the sellers positve feedbacks, he took the risk. pero yun nga, di nya na nahabol yung seller.
actually, the seller send the package to the specified courier, but upon check up by the courier, the box contained DOG FOOD instead of the cell phone -- imagine?! kaloko talaga yung british na yun! di namin alam if it was the seller or the courier.
anyway, he cant do anything nemor, accept nalang the fact na naloko sya. twas a VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON for him. i think now, he already have a paypal.

Did he bought an insurance for the goods? Its a good practice to have an insurance to protect your package. To avoid scam on ebay everything you do, communication, ask sellers question must be done thru ebay. Do not give any information outside ebay, sometimes sellers asked private auction or transaction or giving you a good price that sounds good to be true. Beware of those, they are most likely a SCAM.
