pirated nga... so walang chance kundi panoorin sa maliit na screen....
Anong brand and model ba 42" TV mo? Anong resolution ba kaya nya? Up to what resolution kaya ng internal downscaler/upscaler ng TV?
Anong DVD player gamit mo?

I think you have no choice but to get a better "source" for your TV series. One possibility is to download hi-def versions of your series from the internet. Then find a method of viewing those files on your TV.
Methods of viewing AVI/DIVX/MP4 files:
1. burn to DVD (video format)
2. burn to DVD/CD (AVI/DIVX/MP4 format) and use MP4 compatible DVD player
3. copy files to a HDD MP4 player
4. connect PC to TV (via VGA to Video converter)
5. connect PC to TV (directly via VGA port)
6. connect PC to TV (directly via HDMI port)
Or get a new DVD player with USB port, and copy the downloaded HD TV series to a USB flashdrive and play it in your new DVD player.
malabo talaga yan rear projection pala eh rptv 42" kahit ano gawin mo malabo na yan usually built-in lumens sa mga rp types eh less than 1k lumens lang
tapos pag nagamit mo pa ng more a 100 hours, lalo pa lalabo.
tignan mo yun mga laruan sa timezone, ganyan din labo
^^^ Hindi naman factor ang lumens sa mga RPTV, which is why you don't see manufacturers trumpeting the figures. Sa mga projectors (InFocus, etc), but not RPTV's. You must have the 2 confused.
For RPTV's, resolution ang bragging point (capable ba siya of 720p/1080p, which is HD/Full HD resolution).
Itong si OB talaga, naghahanap na naman ng mapipintasan.

... although possible, I kinda find it a bit inconvenient to need to copy every two to five episodes to a flash drive, especially when you need to buy a new DVD player with USB port and then need to buy a high capacity usb drive as well.
If one needs to buy new hardware, I would suggest with more uses than just watching videos. A HDD enclosure which can also playback video and music aside from the usual duty of external HDD storage. Or better yet (and more expensive) buy a HDD video recorder with DVD drive.![]()
Just buy the original DVD. If the original's already highly compressed, then a ripped file from it is even more so.
Ripped files look fine on small or lo-res tv's. Ramp up the tv size/resolution and the artifacts from ripped files become obvious..
Never ever bought a bootleg to a bootlegger. Anyway, try clean your projection lense, siguradong puno ng dust yong lenses ng TV mo.
even on smaller tv's, those bootleg dvd's are not really clear simply due to compression ... there really aren't enough video data to produce clear picture ... what's worse, on recent movie releases, the audio is so messed up, you'd hear it only from the rear speakers!![]()
