Just buy the original DVD. If the original's already highly compressed, then a ripped file from it is even more so.
Ripped files look fine on small or lo-res tv's. Ramp up the tv size/resolution and the artifacts from ripped files become obvious..

Never ever bought a bootleg to a bootlegger. Anyway, try clean your projection lense, siguradong puno ng dust yong lenses ng TV mo.

January 18th, 2008 01:31 AM #13even on smaller tv's, those bootleg dvd's are not really clear simply due to compression ... there really aren't enough video data to produce clear picture ... what's worse, on recent movie releases, the audio is so messed up, you'd hear it only from the rear speakers!
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
